1. Overview
The HIMA SB3073-EX is an intrinsic safety isolated safety barrier designed for explosive hazardous areas (Zone 0/1/2, Division 1/2). It converts RTD (Pt100/Cu50) or thermocouple signals into standard 4–20mA/1–5V output, providing three-port isolation (power, input, output) and energy limitation to prevent dangerous energy feedback to field devices. It supports HART communication and is TÜV-approved for SIL3 safety loops.
